Bayfield ready to welcome Beer, Wine and Food Festival back

The Bayfield Beer, Wine and Food Festival is back this year after being interrupted by the pandemic.

The Festival is hosted jointly by the Bayfield Arena Community Partners Association and the Bayfield Fitness Initiative Team.

Event Committee Co-Chair, Bill Whetstone, says all of the money raised by the Festival goes back to kids sports and programs for the arena.

"So we can keep costs down to a manageable level and keep the place going for everybody to be able to use it. The idea is it's for all of the community, it's our community hub and we want to be able to keep using it as much as possible.”

Whetstone says this is the 6th Annual Bayfield Beer, Wine and Food Festival. In the past it has been sold out.

“We've got about 22 vendors in total and usually around eight food vendors and the rest of it is a mix of beer, wine, cider and from all different areas, not just here. We're the largest beer, wine and food festival in Huron County. We've got three bands that come and play as well and the food is fantastic.”

The Bayfield Beer, Wine and Food Festival will be held from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Bayfield Arena on May 14th.

Whetstone says tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite.
