The Guelph Owen Sound Transportation (GOST) transit service will not be operating on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
A media release said service will return to normal operations on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
GOST transit service provides transit service between Owen Sound and Guelph. The GOST transit usually offers two round-trip daily services. The first in the morning, departing the Owen Sound Transit Terminal at 7:30 a.m. and the second in the afternoon, departing the Owen Sound Transit Terminal at 1:30 p.m.
Each trip will have a capacity of 10 passengers due to COVID-19.
Fares are based on where passengers are travelling to and from, with a minimum of $5.00 and a maximum of $20.00 from Owen Sound to Guelph. Please check our website for a detailed list of reduced prices for stops between other destinations along the route. Exact cash payable to the bus driver is required.
The GOST transit service takes 2 hours and 17 minutes to make a one-way trip to Guelph Central Station. Connections can be made in Owen Sound or in Guelph to travel further.
