Staffing shortage causes temporary emergency room closure

The Emergency Department at the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance – Clinton Public Hospital will be closed on Friday, December 24,  and will re-open on Saturday, December 25, at 8 a.m.

This temporary closure is due to a staffing shortage.

Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 9-1-1. Paramedics will get you to the nearest Emergency Department for care.

The closest Emergency Departments to the Clinton Public Hospital are:

Seaforth - HPHA – Seaforth Community Hospital

Goderich – Alexandra Marine & General Hospital

Exeter – South Huron Hospital

Wingham – LWHA – Wingham & District Hospital
