Grey Bruce OPP is investigating after a fatal crash in Meaford early Friday evening.
According to OPP, emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash involving an SUV and a pedestrian just before 6 p.m. on Sykes Street North.
Paramedics transported the pedestrian to hospital where they were later declared deceased. Their identity has not yet been released. The person in the vehicle did not suffer any serious injuries.
Sykes Street North is closed between Parker Street and Collingwood Street while crews process the scene.
