ABCA approves new vaccination policy

Members of the Board of the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority approved a vaccination policy this week.

General Manager, Brian Horner, says the policy is in line with the Huron Perth Public Health protocols and is similar to other policies approved by the county and local municipalities.

“We're asking staff to provide us with proof of vaccine and if they don't, the reasons why and if they don't give the reasons, we'll provide some educational materials and if they still choose to, they'll have to have the rapid antigen test three times a week.”

Horner adds, their office will be open to the public, by appointment, but anyone coming into the office will be required to show proof of vaccination.
