The Municipality of Kincardine has appointed Director of Corporate Services Roxana Baumann as the Acting Chief Administrative Officer effective October 12, 2021.
Last month, Sharon Chambers announced her resignation from the Chief Administrative Officer position at the Municipality of Kincardine to accept a new position with the Township of Wilmot. Mayor Glover gave his thanks on behalf of Council and Staff to Sharon Chambers for her leadership over the past four years, especially during the challenging times of COVID-19.
A media release says Roxana Baumann joined the Municipality of Kincardine in 2012 as the Director of Finance/Treasurer and has been an integral part of the Senior Management Team, and adds that her extensive municipal experience coupled with her strong leadership, communication and financial management skills will lead to her success in this interim position.
“I want to welcome Roxana into her new role as acting CAO. I have every confidence in Roxana’s abilities to lead the municipality forward in this transition period,” said Mayor Gerry Glover.
