Police are searching for a missing person after reporting to a distress call by canoeists near Dyers Bay Road at approximately 3 p.m. on Sunday.
One person was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency personal and Joint Rescue Coordination Centre remain on the scene in search for the second person involved.
An increased police presence is expected during the ongoing investigation in the Dyers Bay area.
