UWPH unveils new campaign goal

United Way Perth Huron was in Wingham on Friday afternoon to launch its new 2021-2022 campaign, as well as a new community committee in North Huron.

Executive Director Ryan Erb was on hand for the announcement in front of the North Huron Municipal office, saying its new campaign goal of $2,002,060 is a reflection of the help those less fortunate need, and hopes the community committee, led by local resident Kate Proctor, can assist them in help meeting goals identified in the upcoming campaign.

Erb says he is grateful for the support of municipal leaders on hand, which included local politicians from North Huron, Morris-Turnberry and Howick, for their assistance in getting the new campaign off the ground, noting this year's goal is a "big number, but it will represent and help the work with the need in this community".
