Perth South offers paperless billing

The Township of Perth South is now offering property owners the option of receiving property tax, water and other billings by email.

A media release says the free service will allow residents to access billings wherever they have access to email and store the documents electronically for future reference.

Newsletter and other insert information normally included in mailed billings will be included with the billing email.

“We are very pleased to provide e-billing as a convenient and paperless way to view Township billings.” said Rebecca Clothier, Chief Administrative Officer/Treasurer. “The emailing of billings will allow the Township to serve customers better through the utilization of technology while at the same time saving money on postage, paper and processing costs.”

E-billing participants will no longer receive a paper copy through regular mail.

On-line and paper enrollment options are available to allow residents to  sign up for this new service. For further information, please visit www.perthsouth.ca/emailbilling
