New COVID-19 cases confirmed in Midwestern Ontario

Midwestern Ontario’s COVID-19 case counts rose Tuesday.

The Grey Bruce health Unit added one new case of COVID-19 Tuesday, located in Blue Mountains. There are 20 active cases, and two residents are in hospital with the virus.

Huron Perth Public Health added five new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday. The cases were located in North Huron, Huron East, and Stratford, and one additional death. There are 28 active cases. The death toll from the pandemic is 66. There is one ongoing outbreak located at Knollcrest Lodge long-term care home.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public health added 10 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, 8 of them in Wellington. There are 38 active cases in Wellington, and the virus has lead to the deaths of 39 residents in Wellington.
