Provincial police in Grey Bruce say one person is dead after a Friday morning crash near Chatsworth.
At around 11:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 6-10 between Holland Sydenham Townline and Sunny Valley Road outside of Chatsworth in the municipality of Meaford.
Paramedics arrived and took one driver to hospital where they were pronounced deceased. The identity of the driver is not being released at this time.
No other details about the driver in the other vehicle have been provided.
The Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team were on scene for several hours to conduct an investigation. The area was reopened to traffic just after 8 p.m.
Police say the area is expected to remain closed for several hours.
