Health Unit holds virtual update on local COVID-19 situation

The Grey Bruce Health Unit, in partnership with Bruce Power, held a virtual community meeting last night to update residents on the COVID-19 situation locally.

Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Ian Arra, warns the Delta variant is still of concern, and asks the community to do their part in mitigating its spread by doing these three things;

"Rolling up our sleeves to get the vaccine is one, volunteering is definitely something we would all benefit from, and the third one is being an influencer."

Dr. Arra adds mass immunization clinics will end by the end of the month, and encourages everyone to become vaccinated quickly to stop the spread of the virus.

Appointments can be made online or by phone, or simply attend any of the current scheduled clinics across Grey Bruce for a walk-in appointment.
