The Grey Bruce Health Unit says they are happy to announce a major milestone in terms of vaccination success locally. The region has surpassed giving over 200,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
GBHU says the majority of COVID-19 infections and deaths are among unvaccinated people, and a vaccine is the best way to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus, especially with the recent surge of the Delta Variant.
GHBU reminds residents at the end of July, all large vaccine Hubs will be disassembled to return to community functions, so they suggest getting your second dose soon.
