Police investigating theft of $30,000 worth of tools from local business

Police are investigating a break-and-enter theft from a local Perth County business.

On July 2nd just after noon, Perth County OPP officers responded to a report of a break-and-enter theft at a commercial business located on Perth Road 107 in the Township of Perth East. Sometime during the night between July 1st and the 2nd, unknown suspects broke into five commercial vehicles on the business's property and stole over $30,000 of tools.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information regarding this crime should contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
