Research team confirms second tornado touched down near Goderich last weekend

A research team out of London has confirmed a second tornado touched down on Saturday, near Goderich.

The confirmation came through photo and video evidence and tracked north of Goderich and moved northeast between Lucknow and Ripley.

No damage has been reported yet, so Northern Tornadoes Project is rating an EF0 by default.

The group also increased the Chatsworth-area tornado level from an EF1 to an EF2 based on damage.

A farm outbuilding was completely destroyed and large areas of trees were snapped or uprooted and vehicles and trees were also moved by the storm.
