Wellington County Councillor George Bridge re-elected to FCM National Board of Directors

Wellington County Councillor and Minto Mayor George Bridge has been re-elected to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Board of Directors.

Bridge has been re-elected for the 2021-22 term and is one of 16 members representing the Ontario Caucus. According to the official release from Wellington County, the FCM Board of Directors is "comprised of elected municipal officials and affiliate members from all regions and various-sized communities throughout Canada. It forms a broad base of support and carries the municipal message to the Government of Canada." George Bridge has served the Town of Minto and Wellington County since 2010 and has served on the FCM Board of Directors since 2016.

The elections for the FCM Board of Directors were held virtually this year due to COVID-19.
