HPPH advising residents who attended local park to get COVID tests and self isolate

Huron Perth Public Health is advising some residents to get a COVID-19 test and self isolate following an investigation into recent gatherings a t a local park.

In a release on May 20th, HPPH says they have determined that individuals who tested positive for a COVID Variant of Concern attended the All Wheels Park (in Keterson Park) in Mitchell from May 10th to May 14th. As a result, HPPH is recommending that anyone who attended the All Wheels Park from May 10th to May 14th to get tested for COVID-19. Residents will need to isolate while awaiting test results and if symptoms develop, isolate immediately and get retested.

West Perth also reminds residents that the All Wheels Park has been closed to the public during the provincial shutdown and stay-at-home order. The municipality will continue to enforce this closure until provincial direction changes.
