Bruce County’s Housing & Homelessness Plan Update is looking for ways to ensure an increase to Bruce County’s affordable housing stock.
Staff will collaborate with stakeholders, better understand the needs of Youth & Indigenous groups, increase housing support options, and develop a coordinated system with strong partnerships.
The published highlights of the recent Bruce County Council meeting, report that Bruce County’s Planning and Economic Development and Human Services Departments are working together to create an affordable housing toolkit.
That is phase one of the process, and it is expected to help will promote and provide a smooth process for developers, landlords, builders and contractors, and homeowners to engage in the development of affordable housing,
