North Perth launches new public alert service

The Municipality of North Perth has announced the launch of a new public alert notification service, called "Voyent Alert!"

Officials describe it as a multi-purpose notification service that will be used to communicate important information to residents, and keep people safe during potential local emergencies.

Notifications will be sent for critical events like floods, boil water advisories, and public safety notices, as well as day-to-day communications such as road closures, garbage and recycling updates, etc.

Residents are encouraged to sign up for free to receive alerts, which can be sent through the Voyent Alert! App, or by email, text message, or phone.

More information about the system is available at Voyent Alert's website or North Perth's website.
