The Bluewater District School Board will have a first time chair serving a one year term.
Jane Thomson is the Trustee for the Town of South Bruce Peninsula and Municipality of Northern Bruce. She was elected to a one year term at Tuesday night's inaugural meeting.
She has served as Vice-Chair for the last two terms.
Jan Johnstone will serve as Vice-Chair. She is the Trustee for the Municipality of Kincardine and Township of Huron-Kinloss.
Director of Education Lori Wilder also presented her annual report which highlighted ways the board adapted to the pandemic and student successes over the past 12 months.
