MPP Thompson acclaimed for PCs in Huron Bruce

The Progressive Conservative Member of Provincial Parliament candidate has been acclaimed for the Huron/Bruce riding.

MPP Lisa Thompson was acclaimed during a virtual candidate nomination meeting on Saturday, held by members of the Huron-Bruce Ontario PC Party riding association.

This is the fourth nomination for Thompson, who was first elected in 2011. Thompson has served three terms.

“I have always advocated for the priorities of Huron-Bruce. I appreciate the opportunity to continue my efforts to demonstrate the important need for broadband, as well as the need to support strong community economic development and the infrastructure that goes hand in hand.

“I am extremely proud and humbled to have been given the honour of representing the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario in the next election,” said Thompson.
