COVID-19 count

For the second day in a row the Grey Bruce Health Unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 with no active cases in their region.

The health unit continues to meet with school board officials to discuss the safe reopening of schools with weekly status updates, meetings and digital town halls.

In Huron and Perth, active cases have dropped by one to 26 from yesterday.

In Wellington County, the case count is up by one to a total of three.

Crash in Tilbury claims driver's life

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
