Bluewater board sets registration deadline for August 19

All students who attend school within the Bluewater District School Board have to register for school no later than August 19.

It's part of the Bluewater board's safe return plan. The link to the student registration can be found on the board's website and will include options for in-class and remote learning.

There is also information about the health and safety protocols that are being implemented at www.bwdsb.on.ca/Parents/Return_to_School.

The Bluewater board has created a section on their website dedicated to the entire subject that is divided into two sections, "School Operations" and "Program and Instruction".

A centralized email account has also been created for further questions at [email protected].

"As we prepare for the return to learning in September, our priority is the safety and well-being of our students and staff. We have involved our local Public Health Unit as part of our planning, while also following the directions of the Ministry of Education to ensure that our schools and workplaces are prepared, and our students and staff experience a successful return," said Director Wilder.

The first day of school will be September 8.
