Two more people charged in Meaford murder investigation

Two more people have been charged in connection to the murder of a Meaford man.

On May 6, the body of Emerson Sprung was found after the 25-year old had been reported missing a few days earlier after leaving his home on his bicycle.

Days later, the OPP arrested and charged Matthew McQuarrie, 34, of Meaford with first degree murder.

Two more people have been charged.

Laurel Campbell, 28, and Bridget Smith, 25, both of Meaford, have been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The charges have yet to be proven in court.
