Wellington County is offering a new temporary home delivery service for county garbage bags.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Wellington County waste facilities are closed to the public, and curbside delivery is the only accepted form of waste collection at this time. The county-issued user-pay garbage bags are the only bags being accepted for curbside collection. They can be found in grocery stores, pharmacies and hardware stores which have all been deemed essential services.
Wellington County is now offering a temporary home delivery service for the bags.
To utilize this service, residents can order and pay online by visiting www.wellington.ca/wasteinfo.
Residents unable to order online can call 519-837-2601 and arrangements will be made.
