The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission says Bruce Power has reported a tritium spill at its nuclear generating station in Bruce County.
The commission says there's no reported risk to the health and safety of the public or the environment.
Bruce Power says that on Saturday, staff "responded to a release of heavy water'' in a part of the facility that's shut down for major component replacement.
It says its employees were not adversely affected.
