Brockton resident facing numerous assault charges

A Brockton resident is facing several charges following a report of a disturbance in Mildmay.

Just after 10 a.m. on Thursday, South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police arrived to the scene on Pinkerton Street and determined that an assault had taken place.

The accused refused to cooperate with police, and allegedly became combative while being arrested.

A 32-year-old Brockton resident faces several charges, including two counts of Assault with a Weapon, and Assault of a Police Officer.

The accused was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing.
