South Bruce OPP has identified the driver killed in a two-vehicle collision north of Mildmay.
The collision happened around 4 p.m. on Tuesday on Highway 9 just south of Concession Road 12 East. A compact car collided head-on with a transport truck.
Police said their investigation determined the car was traveleling north when it crossed the centre line for unknown reasons into the path of the truck.
The driver of the car, 75-year-old Kenneth Bruce MacDonald of Teeswater, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the transport was not physically hurt.
