Police identify woman killed in collision with transport in Meaford

Provincial police are releasing the name of a woman killed in a collision between a transport truck and a pedestrian in Meaford last week.

In a release this afternoon, police say the truck was turning right onto Highway 26 from a private drive on December 23 in the early afternoon when it struck 66-year-old Edith Clark of Meaford. She was rushed to hospital but succumbed to her injuries.

Police are still investigating.
