Donation supports Wingham hospital foundation

The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation has received a donation of $2,500 from Brett and Emilie Lammie of the co-operators in Wingham.

The Lammies are making the donation to the hospital as a way to thank their clients for their business throughout the year.

The Lammies have been long-time supporters of the Wingham & District Hospital,  contributing more than $10,000 towards vital medical equipment and upgrades over the years.

This donation will be directed towards renovations to the Ultrasound department which is the top fundraising priority for the WDH Foundation this holiday season.

“Local healthcare matters to everyone – our clients, employees, friends and neighbours – which is why it’s so important for us to keep investing in our hospital," the Lammies said in a statement.

The directors of the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation are grateful to the co-operators for their generosity and thank everyone in the community who supports the hospital throughout the year.
