Significant snowfall expected Sunday for Grey-Bruce

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Bruce Peninsula, Sauble Beach and Tobermory.

A significant amount of snowfall is expected to fall in the region starting Sunday morning and will continue through the night before ending Monday morning.

"The snow is expected to be mixed at times with ice pellets Sunday morning. The bulk of the precipitation is expected to fall throughout the day on Sunday," said the weather agency.

20 cm are expected by Monday morning.

Strong wind gusts up to 70 km/h are also expected throughout the day on Sunday.

A winter weather travel advisory is also in effect for Southern and Northern Grey County and Northern Grey County.
