Upper Grand Schools promote kindness online

The Upper Grand District School Board is launching a district-wide campaign aimed at promoting kindness online.

The “See the good – be the good.” campaign encourages positive behaviour in digital spaces.

Everyone from staff to community members is asked to share tips and resources for positive online habits and to model kind behaviour.

The themes for the campaign are to “Make Connections with Good Intentions” and “Make Kindness Contagious.”

The Kindness Campaign launches online Wednesday, November 20, however, the work will continue in throughout the school year with student work and community connections.

For more information on the Kindness Campaign, visit the board’s website and follow #UGKindness and #IncreaseKindness on Twitter.

The Upper Grand District School Board serves more than 35,000 students through 65 elementary schools and 11 secondary schools in the County of Wellington and County of Dufferin, as well as the city of Guelph.
