Grey Bruce OPP officers have made an arrest in connection to multiple break, enter and thefts from numerous car wash facilities and a laundry mat in Grey and Bruce counties.
Beginning in February 2019 to April 2019, Grey Bruce and South Bruce OPP, along with Owen Sound police and Saugeen Shores police, investigated several similar thefts from cash boxes.
In April, the Chatsworth Car Wash, the Sunrise Carwash in Owen Sound, the Double Bubble Car Wash in Markdale and Sal’s Suds Car Wash in Tara were all targeted.
OPP officers executed a search warrant at a home on Side Road 10 South in Brockton and took a man into custody June 26.
A 29-year-old Brockton resident faces theft and drug charges.
