Fatal motorcycle collision in Mapleton Township

A 55-year-old man from Moorefield has been pronounced deceased following a crash on 12th Line.

Wellington County OPP and Guelph Wellington Paramedics along with Mapleton Fire/Rescue responded to a car crash involving a motorcycle just south of Wellington Road 11 in Mapleton Township.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

OPP are not identifying the man until next of kin have been notified.

The 12th line will remain closed between Wellington Road 11 and Side Road 16 while Wellington OPP continue to investigate the collision.
