Clinton Raceway hosts Mayor's Mingle

Over 200 people turned out for Central Huron Mayor Jim Ginn's seventh annual Mayor's Mingle.

Monday night's event was held at the Clinton Raceway and Ginn said the event seems to have grown over the past few years.

"I think people have kind of gotten the idea of it, it's just a place to come together and have an opportunity to talk to all of the council members without the bother of having to go to a boring council meeting," he said.

Ginn added they've started moving the event around to showcase some of the attractions in the area.

Last year they were at the Windmill Lake Wake and Eco Park and a lot of people commented they'd never been there before, so Ginn said it's a chance to show off places like that, and maybe increase their business a little.
