Subdivision work starts at the south end of Exeter

Construction will begin soon on a residential development at the south end of Exeter.

The development will be built in phases and includes 57 stacked townhouses, 13 single detached homes, two stormwater management ponds and two open space blocks.

Access to the subdivision will be from London Road, with a secondary access point from Simcoe Street.

South Huron Mayor George Finch said it's going to be affordable housing, and he's confident Pinnacle Homes of Stratford is building the right product for the South Huron area.

Finch said he expects the homes will be ready for families to move in next year.
