Child killed in farming accident near Mount Forest

Police are investigating after a four-year-old boy was struck and killed by a tractor south of Mount Forest.

The Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews were called to the farming property on Sideroad 5 on Monday at around 4 p.m.

The child was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is not being released at this time.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
