Teen arrested for impaired driving after fender bender in Tim Hortons drive-thru

An 18-year-old man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly being impaired in a Tim Hortons drive-thru.

West Grey police said they received a call about an accident in the Tim Hortons drive-thru in Durham on Sunday evening. The caller said they had spoken with the male driver and believed he may be under the influence of alcohol.

Police attended the scene and placed an 18-year-old man from Durham under arrest for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. His vehicle has been impounded for seven days and his driver's license suspended.

He has a court date set for July 10 in Walkerton.
