Local municipality hosting photo contest for the public

North Perth are encouraging local shutter bugs to get involved in a new contest.

The municipality of North Perth is inviting photographers to submit photos under 7 categories. Photographers can submit their photos to the Your Say North Perth portion of the municipal website. The categories are Recreation and Sports, Arts, Culture and Events, Innovation, Economy, and Growth, Agriculture and Rural Life, Amenities and Places, Youth and Young Adults, and Nature and Parks.

Photos are being accepted until July 26th, and then they will be displayed on the website for the public to vote on from August 6th to the 17th. The photo with the most votes in each category will win a North Perth inspired gift basket.
