Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run a big success in Huron County

The annual Huron County OPP Law Enforcement Torch Run was very successful last week.

The run, which raises money for Special Olympics Ontario, featured special Olympians, police officers, family members, friends, media and community supporters from all over Huron County. Everyone came out for the event which was held on Tuesday, June 11, and all together raised just over $10,000.

The run kicked off in Wingham, making its way to Blyth, Clinton, and then finishing up in Goderich. A BBQ was held for participants afterwards in the McGee Motors parking lot.
