Local municipality offering businesses assistance to improve storefronts

Brockton is offering businesses some assistance to improve their storefronts.

Local council is offering up to $1,500 for storefront improvements, and matching dollars are available for façade projects worth up to $3,000 for new signage, masonry work or glass repair, windows or doors, awnings, shutters, trim or frontal lighting. The improvements must be visible from the street.

Brockton businesses and building owners can download an application for the program from the Brockton municipal website.
