Elora man faces new charge in connection with woman's death

A man from Elora is facing a manslaughter charge in connection with the death of a woman in Fergus.

On April 3, OPP officers responded to a residence in Fergus and found a 23-year-old woman in medical distress.

Joslyn Nellis of Elora was rushed to hospital and was later pronounced deceased.

Following further investigation, 32-year-old Torry Harris of Elora has been charged with manslaughter. The accused has been remanded into custody.

Days after Nellis' death, Harris was charged with criminal negligence causing death, and several drug trafficking offences.
