A local physician was recognized with a prestigious award recently.
Dr. Marie Gear was nominated by the Municipality of South Bruce for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario Council Award. Dr. Gear was picked by local council for her many years of distinguished service to the community. Her nomination letter included support and testimony from other local physicians, patients and leaders in the area.
The Council Award is presented at each meeting of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario Council to honour outstanding Ontario physicians who have demonstrated excellence.
