Small structure fire causes damage to woodworking shop

The Fire Department of North Huron, as well as the Howick Station, responded to a structure fire in Morris-Turnberry Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was at a woodworking shop along the Belmore Line north of Wroxeter.

North Huron Fire Chief Marty Bedard confirmed that a small compressor exploded in the shop, causing a small fire that caught on to the structure of the shop.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

No cause has been determined at this time, and there is no estimate on damages.
