Patriots win to tie Pollock Div. final at 2-2

Mount Forest jumped out to an early two goal lead and held on to beat Wingham 4-2, tying the Pollock Division championship final series at 2-2.

Brody Leblanc opened the scoring at 4:04 of the first period and Ryley Cribbin's power play goal just passed the midway point would make it 2-0 Mount Forest going into the second.

Wingham mounted a comeback in the middle frame, scoring twice in less than three minutes. Matt Tolton and Kyle Stanbury combined to make it a tie game just past the midway point of the second.

Cribbin's second goal of the game was the winner for the Patriots. Jack Birkett scored on an empty Ironmen net to give the Pats some insurance.

Game 5 is Friday night in Mount Forest. Puck drops at 8:30 p.m. and you can listen to that game on CKNX, following the Listowel Cyclones-Kitchener Dutchmen GOJHL semi-final game.
