Perth-Huron United Way promoting workshops

The Perth-Huron United Way is bringing its non-profit Professional Development workshops back to Huron and Perth counties.

United Way Director of Community Information Susan Faber said the cost of going to a large conference in Toronto is often beyond the budget of non-profit organizations in smaller, rural communities.  Their goal is to offer affordable and local professional development workshops to members of the local non-profit community.

Workshops run between March and May and they're being offered in Stratford, Goderich, Listowel, St. Marys and Clinton.

Faber said the themes run from team development to active risk management, change management, and a leadership development workshop.

More information about them can be found on the perthhuron.unitedway.ca website.
