Life Long Learners program proposed in Bayfield

A retired professor from Waterloo is hoping to start a Life Long Learners program in Bayfield.

Leslee Squirrell said the concept is an educational opportunity for people who are retired or still working and want to attend information lectures given by retired or semi-retired professionals to people who like the learning experience.

Squirrell said things like travel and climate change would be high on her list of topics, but her list also includes archaeology, psychology, animals, travel, nature, technology and medicine.

She admitted those are broad subject matters and is hoping to attract people who have specialties.

She's had more than ten people come forward to lecture in Bayfield, and she's still looking for more.

Anyone interested can contact her at Leslee@lsqbydesign.ca.
