The CEO of the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance does not know what the coming year will look like, but the Alliance is in good financial shape as this fiscal year winds down.
Andrew Williams said they're tracking towards a surplus this year, adding they budget for a $1.5 million surplus.
He said that seems like a large number but it's a small percentage and a $140 million budget.
Williams said they don't what next year will look like.
The Ontario Hospital Association has raised with the government what they feel is an appropriate adjustment to hospital budgets, but Williams said they're not planning for an increase at this point.
