Goderich CAO Larry McCabe says staff is in the process of preparing a lease for Parrish and Heimbecker.
McCabe sid the lease is for a property measuring 26 feet by 26 feet adjacent to the loading dock and is required for a new piece of loading equipment that will replace three existing pieces of equipment.
McCabe said Parrish and Heimbecker had prepared a lease for council's consideration and he prepared a lease on behalf of council. But he pointed out the lease he had prepared was an amending lease to the original lease. Council wanted a separate lease, so they're in the process of finalizing that and sending it on to Parrish and Heimbecker so they can get started on the work as soon as possible.
