Perth County will celebrate the grand opening of a new fire station next weekend.
The Township of Perth East will hold a ceremony next Saturday, October 20, for the new fire station in Milverton.
Among those in attendance will be Perth East and West Fire Chief Bill Hunter, Perth East Mayor Bob McMillan and council members, Fire Marshal Douglas Brown, and local firefighters.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. until noon, with ceremonies beginning at 10 a.m. at the new station at 21 Yost Court. There will be tours of the new station.
